Our plans with our Nature Preserve that is going to home our Forest of Remembrance are as follows:
- Each tree will be dedicated to someone who lost their life to addiction.
- We will be collecting names, dates of life, and a short memory of them if you would like to share one. These will be going on a plaque that will be attached to a tree. (You do not have to contribute any funding to submit your memory)
- We encourage people to come enjoy the healing qualities the Forest of Remembrance can provide.
- We encourage you to remember your loved ones for who they were and not what their addiction had made them become.
- We encourage you to learn that your loved ones were more than their addiction. As well as hopefully connect with others who have lost someone.
- We will have hiking trails throughout the preserve so you can spend the day healing.
